Upcoming North Carolina Auctions

Auction Results: September 17, 2011

This auction was a pretty decent sized one. There were some good classics in the first row (including a non-working Dragon's Lair--I wanted that for a DAPHNE machine, but it was way too pricey). I didn't stay past the pinball results, but in the last row there were quite a number of non-working rarities, including an Empire Strikes Back and a cockpit Omega Race. There was also a dedicated Mappy...not quite as rare, but still somewhat uncommon. Another interesting note: before I made my pinball coffee table, I had never heard of or seen Bally's Lost World pinball machine. There were two (non-working but very restorable) ones at this auction. Weird. There were a few things I was interested in, but I came home empty-handed.
